갤러리바다 2026 봄 기획전 <복숭아꽃이 피기 전에 On the Verge of Bloom>

《복숭아꽃이 피기 전에》는 다가올 봄을 가장 먼저 만날 수 있는 전시입니다. 복숭아꽃은 4월에 피지만, 갤러리바다에서는 그보다 조금 먼저, 3월의 한가운데에서 봄을 준비합니다.

전시장 안에는 이미 꽃이 가득합니다. 고요하게 번지는 꽃밭과 꽃나무, 정적이 흐르는 듯한 도자기와 정물화, 봄 햇살 아래 천천히 몸을 펴는 동물들, 그리고 통통 튀는 색으로 채워진 숲과 새, 꽃들까지.

이번 전시에는 농작가, 청각장애 작가, 발달장애 작가, 뇌병변 작가 등 서로 다른 감각과 방식으로 작업하는 작가들이 함께합니다.

각자의 방식으로 바라본 봄은 다르지만, 모두가 봄을 기다리는 마음으로 이 전시를 준비하였습니다. 갤러리바다에서 조금 이른 봄을 맞이해보며, 전시를 통해 여러분의 하루에도 반짝이는 봄이 찾아오기를 바랍니다.

<On the Verge of Bloom> is an exhibition where you can encounter the coming of spring a little earlier than expected. While peach blossoms typically bloom in April, Gallery BADA prepares for spring a bit sooner, right in the middle of March.

The exhibition space is already filled with flowers. Quietly spreading flower fields and blossoming trees, still-life paintings and ceramics that hold a sense of calm, animals slowly stretching under the spring sunlight, and forests, birds, and flowers bursting with vibrant colors.

This exhibition brings together artists with diverse perspectives and ways of expression, including Deaf artists, artists with developmental disabilities, artists with cerebral palsy, and others working across different sensory experiences.

Though each artist envisions spring in their own way, they have all prepared this exhibition with a shared anticipation for the season ahead. We invite you to experience an early spring at Gallery BADA, and hope that this exhibition brings a touch of brightness and warmth to your day.
